Every year there are planned layoffs in Jan and the day after Thanksgiving. This pattern has existed for years and will undoubtedly continue. The layoffs in between are varying.

The next big layoff will be July. Right after they know who was below expectations at mid year

If they've been laying off for years, how come we still have ~50k employees? Oh Yeah, India!

The beast is out there. Always hungry especially cause it sat out most of 2020. Making up for lost time

Staff cuts are never good but to do it in an economic environment where it is exceedingly difficult to get a job - especially outside of NY - is just wrong.

Easily 2500 people being laid off in 2021. They need to make up for all the people they kept on in 2020.

It’s my understanding there are layoffs every month. At least that was the practice pre pandemic.
The next big one is July.
