Just a word to the wise out there: If you have been laid off or fired from BNY Mellon, and you are entertaining the idea that somehow you can start, or partake in a class action lawsuit against BNY Mellon for wrongful termination, you need to take that idea and throw it right out the window. I'm not trying to stir the pot, or get people mad, or get a reaction from people, or anything of that sort. I am being level and serious about this. You cannot win a class action lawsuit against BNY Mellon for wrongful termination. I don't care how many lawyers out there tell you otherwise. I don't care if there's 500, 1000, or more people on the class action suit. I don't care what you are being promised. They can promise you the moon! None of it matters. You will never win anything, ever.
BNY Mellon is the largest custodian bank in the world. IN THE WORLD. Let that sink in for a minute. This is a bank that holds over $38 trillion dollars in custody. What kind of legal representation do you think an institution like that access to, versus what you have access to? You are an ant versus goliath, no matter how badly they treated you, no matter how wrong it all went down, none of that will ever matter. You will never win.
I'm saying all of this to you because there are a ton of predator lawyers out there that want to take advantage of your emotions. They want to make you think you have a legal case against your employer. You have no case. You have a lawyer trying to take advantage of you so he/she can get paid. Don't fall for it! They are all full of it! Lawyers know how miserable you are, and they see that as an opportunity to take your money, by making you think that you'll somehow get compensated for all that you've been through. You will never get anything more than you SUB payments for all that you've been through, if you are lucky.
Does it make sense to give any of that hard earned money to a lawyer who promises you this, and that, and the other? Of course not!
Hold onto your money. Don't give your money away to anyone, no matter what they promise you. Walk away from your experience with this employer and move on with your life. Once you are settled in at a new employer making more money, you'll soon forget about all of your grievances you ever had with this bank.
