Do not believe any thing that comes out of Saket - full of BS and no ground reality or practical approach

I was contacted by a L4 manager too saying they'd like to talk. But it was via Peakon so I assume they didn't know who I was and wanted me to contact them. Were you contacted by a secretary directly?
They do know who you are. Similar to another person here, I too received an email and request to meet, that never actually happened. I don’t regret my feedback. I spoke my truth. In the process of moving on,.
Of course they can be seen by managers, that's the point of a survey. The question is, how easily can it be tied back to an individual? My manager had 4 people reporting to him and his manager had about 20 spread across 5 locations. I bet they could easily tell who said what.
Pretty sure they tract responses to those so called anonymous surveys by IP address. They who is saying what and whose not. This company is so behind in technology and working there was a strain mentally. Truthfully when I got my package it was like a load had been lifted off my shoulders. Don't miss my old job and most of the phony people who worked in our business unit. Best thing that could have happened to me, now it's time for me to enjoy life.
The Peakon Survey’s are not anonymous. They can be seen by not your manager, but his manager and his managers manager. I gave honest answers but which happened to score extremely low in two area’s but I forget what Peakon labeled those area’s. I received an email from my managers, managers, manager requesting to chat. His secretary called we set i up the meeting, then he had to reschedule. On the reschedule, he then rescheduled again, and then was just a no show. I had hoped to have a discussion, but it became apparent that these Peakon Surveys are to give appearance of care and that you have a voice and that upper management is listening. The reality is, in my case anyway, upper management really does not care or is too overwhelmed to bother with what the culture of the company has become. Not sure if this will necessarily get you a layoff if you want one, but giving your honest thought is never a bad thing, nor is confronting your manager when injustice occurs. Be brave and walk tall. If it does get you layed off, you go knowing you were honest and trying to bring awareness and that is brave and not everyone has that capacity right now given circumstances. Being layed off isn’t so bad.
I wouldn't be surprise if my Peakon responses get me the ax.
Do you answer those Peakon surveys and are they really anonymous? I'm thinking to go as low as possible, I am sure nothing happens anyway.
I remember the rats they brought in from Deutschebank. Bunch of cutthroats.
@2fpc+19gihUww - yes, our wonderful "architecture" teams. Mostly a bunch of professional meeting holders that like to hear themselves talk. The last time I dealt with these clowns a few weeks ago we spent a whole day arguing over the name and 2 columns of a table.
Let it go and move on. Congrats those who got laid off. You will not miss a thing.
I was in IT and had a heck of a time trying to keep up on my skillset. Spent countless hours trying to deal with bureaucracies and tracking down how to do simple things such authorization and authentication. Our "architecture" team was too busy to guide us and you could spend days weeding through non-relevant/outdated info on confluence, sharepoint and MSS.
I remember coming back from Saket's town halls where he was talking about self-driving cars, APIs and metrics just to sit at my desk for a few hours trying to figure out how to fill out a Remedy CRQ so I could implement a simple change within a month. They finally "replaced" Remedy with something that is just as clunky and built a volume of encyclopedias to explain something as simple as a change management process.
Do not expect anything from this company but the continuous laying off of seasoned employees and the distribution of their work to the few that are left or overseas. Look elsewhere because you will never move up here - every few years someone comes in on top and moves their people in. Horrendous new manager in 2020. No leadership skills- just a lot of buzzwords thrown around. Stay far away from this crumbling company.
Why are you staying then?
