i'll share what happened to me. i was ghosted by the recruiter and the hiring manager. I kept following up after my interview, but got no response. a few months went by and i sent another email to the recruiter and said "i havent heard back from you. I think i got ghosted at work." she replied back quickly and said "no, you werent ghosted".....the position was closed due to a re-org and that the system email should have been sent to me. Of course it wasnt, because it was still active in the posting board. I checked the req a few days later and then it was officially closed out of the system.
As a hiring manager, I've had it take weeks, but never months.
It depends on which bathroom you use
Depends if you are already pre-selected and they have to go they the motions to make it fair. :-)
Recruiter probably quit
A few weeks but usually not months based on my experience
