Update: I learned that the gift card I received is added to my total pay. The issue I found is that the added value to the total pay I received for this time period is much, much greater then the actual gift card.

A received a broken line to what turned out to be a patronising video.
The value of the gift card is "trued" up to account for taxes on the value of the gift card.
