I guess the OP also missed the announcement for the leadership training program they launched a month or so ago SPECIFICALLY FOR BLACK EMPLOYEES!
The company is so pro diversity that they could care less if they discriminate in attempt to achieve it.
I'm sure Laide Majiyagbe was hired because she had the strongest financial skills out of all the candidates.
BNYM is a model of diversity so I don't know what the complaining is about. Incompetence has no boundaries regarding gender, race or creed in this place.

My first position in the company was as a supervisor. I was brand new to the experience of interviewing and hiring candidates. Upon narrowing it down to the candidate I wanted to hire, HR made me fill out a spreadsheet with all candidates names, gender and race. I was then instructed to rank them based on most desired to least desired for the opportunity. Then I was told to hire the black candidate over the white candidate even though the black candidate was ranked as third. This was 18 years ago.
People saying that our company isn't diverse are the same ones that have been given every advantage all along..also known as "other than white".

Guess you miss all of the corporate announcements of the new hires & promotions for significant roles within the company. Almost all diverse candidates, which is also known as non white males. The company has been engaging in reverse discrimination for years.
Cry your woke/oppressed tears somewhere else.
Why should they have to look? Charlie got in trouble for this at wfc too with people complaining because he's not looking into the places that minorities with financial skill hang out. WTF don't they hang out where the rest of the financial professionals hand out?
BK should concentrate on making money, not social engineering the world.
