I'm from USAA and I wonder if any of you know anything more about the rumors circulating that the USAA federal savings bank is to be acquired by Bank of America?

d-mb. the G-SIB banks are going to be allowed to do any more M&A. baseless and not worth the fed scrutiny.
Where did you hear this? Any data or reg reports?
One can only hope it’s just a rumor. BAC has stayed away from acquisition strategy since the LaSalle, Countrywide, ML fiasco. I very much doubt Brian would buy in to that strategy.
