I didn't think there would be any problems at all, but I didn't manage to change department and that's why I decided to leave BofA. I need a change, and if I can’t have it here, then I’ll look for other opportunities. Do most people here have problems when they want to change the department?

Not difficult at all. First, network internally with people from departments you intend to move. Second, learn everything about their jobs, systems, protocols, requirements...etc. Third, read the job descriptions posted in Flagscape and update your resume. Fourth, find out who the hiring manager is and have a chat. Go from there....
