I got a new job and start Monday working remotely. Thank god.
Why not organize a protest? No one shows up on September 7. Make that an annual tradition. Everyone calls off every September 7.
I voted Up because I don't plan on quitting just yet. However, living in the Northeast there are going to be some days in the late Fall and Winter when I am NOT going to schlep my bu-t through heavy snow or freezing cold weather and I am going to call in...don't even know what to call it...call in "stranded" maybe?...and say I am not coming in but am willing to work the day at home. They can either agree to those terms or not, I really won't give a huge cr----a.
