Lack of vision keeping their employees down. That's for sure. On the other hand, why BNY Mellon has no vision is not clear to me. What this bank was supposed to be like if only they had a vision, and what it is today are two different things.

Sounds like a few clock watchers posting here. Companies with no vision is die. While it seems a few posters think we should just jump ship like parasites, most of us want a company with a plan to grow profits, pay bonuses and have us feel like we're contributing to society. If you're working only for a paycheck, YOU have failed at life.

I’m a Todd fan. Stepped right up after the surprise exit of his predecessor to fill the vacuum and has done a great job. No two years with training wheels were needed for him.
Maybe we should buy Todd some bigger glasses.
There is lack of vision due to the EC and most of the managers.
I don’t think Todd can even vision what’s for dinner that night let alone run a company.
Look at the current state of the Company and then map it with the vision that was outlined 10 years back.Now do a trend analysis by going back to the past and do the same for future every 10 years with the current vision you would see where you were and where do you see yourself in the next decade.Run a stat and create graphs to see the trends. Ask anyone in the EC what would be the next big Technology :
- AI
- Blockchain
- Robotics
- Quantum Computing.
If they give politically correct answers you know where the Bank is heading.If you see more chaos nay alignment in the processes you know what to foresee ahead. Simple things to point out Merit increases that happened in April then moved to July then again April next year onwards proves why did you decide to have it in July in first place when you are going back again to April. Were you doing an experiment or lacked vision.This is just grain in a salt there are many chaotic things happening at a macro level.
OK smart a$$, write the company vision in 500 words or less taking into consideration current market conditions and the path we're going to take to be a leader in the industry. Outline the plan and expand. Go.
