Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

I don’t want to feel miserable anymore

Does anyone here feel respected? I don’t know if I’ve ever felt that way here.
Still, I have accepted the extremely humiliating working conditions here because the bills will not pay themselves. However, I was a little younger then, so I could endure it all, but I really have no intention of enduring such humiliations anymore.
I gave notice and for the first time in a long time I could breathe a sigh of relief.

I do not feel valued or appreciated anymore.
My T.L. is terrible!
Why she is still there shocked me. How she got the position in the first place amazes me.
When will the F###ups end!

I left after 16 years ( of course that is what they want). Life is so much better. I feel alive again, like a human again!! It is a very de humanize place to work. That is what Amazon is known for. Trying to turn humans into robots or be replaced by robots. They do not have a clue about running a grocery store.
They are just using Whole foods for information on how run retail using high tech.

Well done! Quitting WFM after 17 years was the best thing I ever did. The air is sweeter. Food tastes better. Congrats on taking your life back :)

Good decision! It's an abusive environment that people have learned to accept. One day you wake up and realize how ludacris it is to continue accepting what gets dished out.
