You say punitive, I say protecting the people who have taken the steps to get back to normal from those that haven’t and are potentially higher risk.
Don’t want to be “punished”? Take those same steps.
The internment camp reference is also uncalled for and completely disrespectful to those who have actually endured hardships like those.
I don't see them mandating the vaccine, but it certainly sounds like punitive behavior towards the unvaccinated AND those who refuse to disclose private health information. Yay everyone returns but if you're not disclosing you're fully vaccinated mandatory face coverings "designated" work spaces and twice weekly back of the nose swabs, plus "other protocols" in other words, coming soon to a campus near you, internment camps for the unvaccinated. Sad thing is, they're basing this decision on faulty data. I know because I provided it. This is not only unsafe, but but will do nothing for productivity, at least nothing that couldn't have been addressed through other means.
We got notice today that employees not providing details on vaccination tracking sheet will be subject to masking, designated workspace, social distancing, twice a week covid testing, temperature checks, and other protocols … when invited back to office after Labor Day.
Guess we will collaborate from a distance?
I'm sure there are many of the Covid hoaxer crew who have created fake vaccine cards just to get the clear to return the office.
You never have take a vaccine you don’t want to. The bank also doesn’t have to keep you employed either, it’s called capitalism.
Companies can make just about anything that isn’t a crime a condition of employment, dr-g tests, background tests, uniforms, providing equipment.
You do have a choice, choose wisely.

No plans to mandate vaccine. You'll just have to follow all the enhanced health protocols.
Or if you are lucky you can get covid and not have to take that terrible vaccine.
My understanding is that the vaccines are being used under emergency authorization and you can't be forced to take it. Once they are licensed then you can be forced to take it. I wonder how Houston Methodist Hospital was able to get away with firing up to 153 staff (some resigned) who refused to get vaccinated and where the Federal Judge who dismissed their lawsuit as frivolous for his law degree. I think it was the Close Cover Before Striking School Of Law. Unfortunately I think this will not be settled until it reaches the Supreme Court.
