@6wyj+1c1WEVg7 has 4 down votes because PRO VAXXERS actually hate science no matter how much they scream "trust the science"

What they really should be screaming is "trust the media" since they are quick to regurgitate the talking points they see on CNN.

Enjoy wearing masks in your cubicle.

It's HIPAA, not HIPPA. And they changed the rules so your health privacy doesn't matter when it comes to forced vaccinations.

Take your corrective action and shove it straight up your azzez BNY.

According to a controlled study by the Cleveland Clinic, if you've already had covid, you're protected better than someone who only got the vaccine. And if you already had covid, there is no benefit to getting the vaccine. But BNY will force you to get it anyway!

The only question around HIPPA violation here is in how they are storing the information collected and timeframe for them to store it.

Yes, legally, it has been ruled that they can collect the data. However, the obligation is incumbent on them to notify employees of the aforementioned regarding security around the storage of data (who will have access, how long, etc)

It would have been a violation prior to Covid hysteria. They have changed the rules for control.

An employer asking your vaccination status is not a HIPPA violation.

I don't care if other companies "are doing it". If everyone else is jumping off the Empire State Building, does that mean its a good idea for you to do the same? Of course not! Where the he-l is everyone's common sense? This needs to go through the courts.

Definitely sounds like a violation of HIPPA. But I'm sure the unethical robots in legal and ethics will try to lie their way into agreeing with our incompetent management.

The list is from June, BNYM is not there but you can see what other banks/companies are doing.

How can they obtain your vaccine status and confront you — without violating HIPPA?

The "In applicable jurisdictions" is the crux. Dunno if it will be based on the city you work, state, or country. Interesting times ahead...gulp. sigh.

Not sure what is worse: getting vaccinated when I can't get the vaccine due to medical reasons, or having to be in the office Tue-Wed-Thu.

or both!

So. The government , including White House , cdc staff & NIH staff, does not need to divulge who was vaccinated, nor do they require vaccination for employment, nor who has tested positive recently, but we do if working for BNYM.
Brilliant leadership. FOOLS.

Mass firing will be more beneficial for the company than layoffs. Now they can get out of paying sub pay and will just terminate with no additional benefits. Great place to work.

Those of you who got the jab and were mulling over lying about it so you can remain at home probably shouldn't have posted that selfie on Facebook of you showing your card.

Right now that coworker that can't stand you, probably for good reasons, it screenshotting your post just in case you roll the dice.

You didn't think being a good sheep would end up biting you in the rear.

Have fun in the office.
