Finally after this last straw about RTO I interviewed for a smaller company who offered the same benefits and Hybrid...can also choose WFH FT if I choose to... I was fast tracked in new job because I was refered thankfully...now I'm packing up my tiny apt in NJ and moving to Tampa FL!
The thought of commuting for an hr and half each way to NYC gave me nightmares.
17 years at BofA! No raise in the last 4 years. Comp on bonus down 50% this past record year....you gave me no choice. Only thing I will miss are the few people left on my team. The last few years felt like a nightmare...I had health problems because of all the stress and work and firedrills.
Grass my not be greener they say, but I hit my limit here. I could not stomach another year.
If I can do it after 17yrs....so can you! Move you aren't tied to this place.
