Is it not corporations that have set the example here? Why are they so indignant when the tables are turned. Isn’t turnabout fair play?

I like to do the least work for the most pay. Does movie watching count as work ?
One attitude leads to companies such as Tesla and Amazon.
The other leads to companies such as Kmart and Sears.
