Can we sue BofA if we catch covid because of their stubbornness around RTO?

Efficacy of vaccinations have been proven to wane. Israel says that protection can get to as low as 16%, and currently the numbers sit around 39%. The CDC changed their mask and testing guidance because of the reports that came out following the 800+ breakthrough infections in MA. The viral load found in the nose/throats of vaccinated and unvaccinated people are virtually the same, and vaccinated people can get and transmit covid. Knowing all this, and knowing that the heads of big businesses now know it too, isn’t it gross negligence asking us all back in the office to work closely next to other people, whether they’re vaccinated or not? I have been avoiding covid for 18 months, is the message now that we should all be ok catching covid even though there is evidence of long term effects even if vaccinated? This seems like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

This delta variant is deadly and BOA knows this for a fact. If BOA thought they could get sued by employees getting covid and dying , they would not have us RTO. This company has nothing to lose but we do as employees. We are risking our health and our immediate families at the same time. DO NOT RTO !!!!!!!!!!!

BOA did all their homework prior to requesting employees to RTO. This company has every employee unwilling to RTO cornered. They are going to make your life miserable. This delta variant is highly contagious and more than likely will spread through your workplace. CEO BM is a fukhing arrogant s-b and should stop pushing this bullshlit .

saw this just in the news.... anyone with kids is not going to want to ride that public transportation/be in office to collaborate with masks on.

A presentation by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made public late Thursday shows that those who are vaccinated are three times less likely to catch COVID-19 and 10-times less likely to die from it than those who are unvaccinated.

Once infected, though, vaccinated people are just as contagious as those without that protection — meaning they need to wear a mask and keep their distance to avoid passing on the virus.

I believe if you let them know in writing of you being at high risk and objecting to their requirements and it turns out they should've known better (negligence) and you can prove you got covid and was impacted negatively you have a shot, Good luck finding an attorney to represent you as they will need their money up front. If you are an attorney or well versed in this area maybe...but probably not and the bank knows it...Its a risk reward decision and the bank doesn't see the risk...

Nah I doubt you can sue. I'm sure BOA has a lot of loopholes that they have slithered through to where if a employee gets sick with COVID at the office they are not responsible.
