Amazon Delays Return To Office

Amazon on Thursday pushed back its office return date until early next year amid a surge in Covid-19 cases from the Delta variant, making it one of the most significant delays yet in the tech industry.

The online retail giant's corporate workers in multiple countries, including the United States, were originally slated to start coming back to the office by September 7, but that date has now been moved to January 3, 2022, Amazon (AMZN) told CNN Business.

My wife’s company of 18,000 employees recently made the decision to go 100% WFH and they are running like a well oiled machine. Closed all commercial buildings and didn’t renew the leases.

My partner works for a 45,000 people company and they just announced that they will be WFH through 2/1/2021. I think we should do the same. I miss social interaction but I love not having to commute and being able to use my own toilet.

If you are joining this company for the first time just use it as a pit stop until something better comes along. I tell all new hires this when they come in an I also tell them you only get promoted if you are family or you worked with them at another company. They don't give you a decent salary or pay raise a year. This company is azz backwards and only use them for experience and get the fuhk out of here.

I dont know a single employee that is thrilled to be working for BofA. We're all collecting a paycheck until we find something better.
Many of us havent seen raises in years and bonus and benefits keep going downhill every year. Now with no flexibility at the very least...this dumpster fire has nothing else to offer.

This here shows how Amazon value it's employee's safety and well being . On the other hand, BOA doesn't care at all about your health and risk of contracting this deadly virus. I hope employees realize what's going on here. This company doesn't care if top talent leaves .They will just put another body in your place. How the he-l did this company ever get one of the best places to work? It is not the good times that tell you about a company work environment, it's the tough times that we are in now that show BOA ugly azz side!!!!!
