Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Compulsory brainwashing = insult to white employees

This place just keeps getting worse and worse. Am I now going to be taught this "woke" nonsense while at work? Bank of America encouraged North Carolina employees to participate in the Racial Equity 21 Day Challenge.

"Cede power to people of color"? Does that apply to Brian and Cathy too? If they really believe this bulls**t, when will they be stepping down from their positions so that they can give them to persons of color?

"I'll just continue to keep my head down and do my job and try to continue filtering out the array of just utter non-sense at this place until I can find a better job opportunity for a company where I actually feel valued." Pretty much nails it. BAC has been 'woke' for years. I feel like I work for the devil.

I want to work for a bank interested in banking, not politics.

I've been at BofA for over 12 years and no longer feel proud to work at this company as of a couple of years ago. From the far left-wing politics on constant display at the Bank, to the ever increasing amount of jobs offshored to India, to the RTO policy rooted in driving attrition and cutting costs at the expense of employee well-being... it has become increasingly frustrating and disappointing to come to grips with the direction of leadership here.

I'll just continue to keep my head down and do my job and try to continue filtering out the array of just utter non-sense at this place until I can find a better job opportunity for a company where I actually feel valued.

@ejr+1csJv3Xi Employment and promotions should be on the basis of merit and not race. Your post is an insult to hard working people of all races who shouldn't be advanced or denied advancement solely on the basis of race.

There are a lot white people in management positions versus minorities. Many of these people were given this position because of white privilege. A lot of black people work at the bottom of this company and very few get promoted. I would like to see more black males get promoted instead of black women. The reason they promote black women frequently is that they satisfy two quotas at once. I am tired of seeing the same white males and females get positions. This has to stop. If I came from a foreign country and just went directly to BOA corporate HQ , I would think no black males live in this country. REAL DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION BEGINS AT THE TOP AND NOT AT THE BOTTOM!!!!!

The CEO of BOA should step down immediately . The next person either black or white can't do any worse than this fuhking buffoon. He has really done a cr---y job in handling of this pandemic along with the RTO. I am really embarrassed after this latest 21 day challenge. I hope this blockhead mo-o gets removed from the stockholders.

BM, this could go wrong in so many ways, from both sides. I hope you were sober when you came up with this 'brilliant' idea. Be a business man, not a politician.

It didn’t occur to you that “inclusive meritocracy” got scrubbed from Flagscape? BAC management made a hard turn to the left a few years back.
