Layoffs always occur right after PMP ratings for mid year and end of year. If you didn’t meet either you can get ur in the list as well as anyone making big bucks or close to retirement. They’ll look to save a lot of money with them bumping employees salaries recently

2nd week of January 2021 was when it happened to me. Lots of long time workers were let go that week. Best thing that ever happened to me. Incredible that some of the ones that made the cut were barely doing the amount of work I was. All good because the firm has been headed downhill for many years now. Nearing retirement I would have preferred one last year which would have brought me to 65. All in all I am so glad I'm no longer working for that train wreck of a company. If you've been there a long time be happy, the package is good and being able to collect unemployment is also good. Needed the year off from all the BS I endured the last few years. I'll start the job search in 2022. Would have started sooner but some unexpected health issues put a stop to my desire to get back out there. If you get the separation package count yourself lucky, there is no loyalty in this firm and raises are an embarrassment. Happy Holidays to all.

@ija+1dLWb0gg, where did you read that the vaccinated are super spreaders. That is total BS. Get your head out of your a-s and stop spreading unfounded rumors. As for those who don't want to get vaccinated, that's fine but don't criticize those who want to or have already been vaccinated. Unfortunately sometime you can't fix stupid.

The amount of people not liking comments with facts about the covid shot are seriously concerning. No wonder we have a senile, useless person in the White House. You probably all think he’s doing a great job too. SMH

in this thread, we get to see who has a high school level understanding of biology, vs who declared themselves intelligent because they followed the whims of cnn, msnbc, facebook, twitter and assorted politicos.

It's time to update your firmware... it’s difficult to misspell a 3 letter word like “nil”.

Just asking a legitimate question as i honestly have no idea. I was under the impression that we are only to provide the covid shot proof? I am seeing posts about "medical history " and i was never asked to provide that. Is this another small print thing i missed? I don't care either way since if they want to see i get a physical and hesring checked but i don't see the relevance of that info.

@2zbo+1dLWb0gg, why so mad at the comment? Afraid you’re dirty indiscretions and stinky pu-s will be exposed. Nobody cares about your opinion and I agree with the comment anyway. if I have to tell you what’s in my medical history, I want everyone exposed . They can wear a scarlet letter for what they have going on and See how they like it. I hope this bank burns and their bs backfires. They have no staff now and nobody wants to work there but let’s sc--w with the hard workers over a sh-t shot that doesn’t work

Lol 2 things, first nobody here wants your d-mb information, the company does. 2nd, unless you are scurrying around on your knees blowing the employee pool/ ba----g fellow employees in a conference room im pretty sure all your mentioned diseases are of zero concern to your health.

If it's nearly as much of a risk as the commies think, we should cointinue working from home. Easy fix.

The stupidity with these comments about this shot are unreal. Everyone is at risk regardless if vaxxed or not. Wake up! We can all spread it and get it. That shot doesn’t give you a magic force field so quit with the non sense. You all need to learn the facts about it and what’s going on and stop listening to your bs news paid to scare you into taking it. If you want it good for you but I’m not taking it cause it’s my choice and one that has zero impact on you clowns who think it has magic powers .

@ija+1dLWb0gg, what are you smoking? Vaccinated people are getting covid all the time and not a mild version either. They’re also considered super spreaders for a reason. That shot is not a vaccine and doesn’t stop you from getting or spreading covid. You seriously need to be better educated on this

I too miss listening in to the enjoyable senior leader conversations on displacements right around where the water coolers used to be. Even more I miss the water coolers which were eliminated due to cost cutting. Fun times for sure.

We live in a world of comfortable cowards which have helped shaped the insane times in which we live via their silence. However, if enough standup to this mandate, it will make a difference. The same folks who take issue with the mandate drive the economy. Employer's who provide safe haven from this overreach will reap the benefits of that talent.

I cannot wrap my mind around those of you who stand by or, worse yet, agree with the mandate... You must ask yourself.. Do I agree that in all cases (because now it will have become president that it is acceptable), the Federal Government and/or my employer should be able to mandate a medical decision to me under threat of loss of lively-hood? Think about that deeply while imagining the political party you disagree with is in power.

There are always layoffs. This place has to make sure the grim reaper remains employed unlike the people that they let go. I get that some people do not want to be vaccinated and I get that some people do want to be vaccinated, (I however believe it should be up to each individual and not ones government or the corporation they work for). Now, for those who are looking to quit because of the mandate they put in place to be vaccinated, you peak my curiosity. Truly, where are you going to go when you leave as just about every place wants you vaccinated before you sign on the dotted line? What will you do?

It's time to update your firmware... The vaccine is extremely effective and therapeutics have come along way. The risk to the vaccinated is nill, the risk to healthy children is nill, the risk to immune compromised still exists and will continue as Covid in one form or another is here to stay. Time to reassess the risk and let go of your fear.

Of course we will have layoffs! Some people really enjoy this type of environment, if you don’t believe me listen closer in various senior leader meetings.

Look around, we lay off people to hire new and higher paid people….how else could our salary and benefits expense continue to climb with fewer people?

It stops being a personal decision when it involves a disease that can be passed on to other people. It becomes a PUBLIC health crisis and hard decisions need to be made...and enforced.

I'm guessing those who will not comply with the mandate will fulfill the quotas. Scary times we live in.. Never thought I'd see the day when the company I sell my labor to would inject themselves into my personal medical decisions..
