Anyone get invited to attend? If so, please share sometime tomorrow after the webex. (inquiring minds want to know)

OP: THANK YOU FOR UPDATING US! SERIOUSLY. Would shake your hand if I could.
I wish more people would do that.
Also I am personally relieved for you that its not a layoff!
I’m the original poster. This morning I got 2-emails saying it was cancelled. It was never a 1:1, sorry if it was misleading. It was a WebEx with many people invited. So I didn’t go, but sounds like others did. Which actually confused me more. Why were some cancelled? I’m still working on trying to find answers. This whole thing just doesn’t make much sense to me and a few on my team. If I find out anything, of course I’ll share here.
Is this some broad audience meeting or is it a 2 person meeting, OP?
They wait until all time zones are open to start layoff talks. So word doesn’t get out before affected are told.
Because they can record it.
To the original poster, please report back. It does sound like a layoff meeting. Let us know what goes down, and best of luck to you.
Meeting is with your manager, HR, and you/the employee. You've been laid off. "Meeting" is to discuss your severance package, action items need to be done, e.g. train your replacement, document your processes for your counterpart in India, etc., before your last day: some will have 2 weeks, others have a month, the rest by end of year for their last day. Rolling layoffs in different departments and locations throughout BoA from tomorrow until MLK Jr. holiday next year. The small but isochronous hits are to silo people and prevent them to post in sites such as this one and/or social media. Consider yourself both fortunate and unfortunate.
What the he-l?
I got the email, but my Manager I think is the only one attending, then will forward a recap of the meeting. Why is this topic WebEx even a thing?
