Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Use your sick days now, historically layoffs happen in the next 30 days.

If you get laid off they don't pay out on sick days remaining. You only receive a payout on your accrued vacation that is left over.

Stay wise my friends. Almost 12 years with the bank, right around Thanksgiving is historically a layoff. After that the next layoff is around bonus time in February.

If you have unused sick or vacation time, you'd get it in the form of a paid day if you leave the company. You only lose the unused floating holidays.

First of all, who the he-l are they going to layoff? Half of these mfers don't want to work or come to work. Many companies can't even find mfers to work for them . There are literally thousands of jobs out there. I could get laid off tomorrow and find a job the same day. I would be glad to get away from this dysfunctional azz company with phony azz upper management mfers.

@sjz+1do0QlSr - uh huh, what you think the bank is going to solicit the internet provider to track down the i.p. address of the posters? And then you think the internet provider is just going to hand it over because the bank asked? Now who's the id--t?

If you use more than your earned sick time if you quit, get laid off or get fired for cause the bank will claw it back out of your last pay check.

All of the big financial companies are going back to work at least 4 days in the office like pre-COVID. People need to smarten up. WFH is not the way of the future, especially at BoA. So tired of people whining thinking they are justified in their desire to work from home. WFH translates to: I’m lazy and I don’t really want to work with anyone, nor do I care about being a team player.

Also, its likely all the complainers that post here will be RIF’d, so yeah, use all your sick time. You think they can’t figure out who posts here?

good tip!
Also it's likely the poor performers who will RTO because they arent qualified to get jobs outside. The good ones left and will continue to leave as well. Next year and beyond this company will look completely different.
