Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

I wouldn't rely on severance too much

It's the company's prerogative to provide you with severance. Do you really think that at some point in time this leadership will not decide that they're done with it? It's not their legal obligation to provide it, so why continue? If you're betting your future on severance, I'd definitely figure out a backup plan if I were you.

Providing vax status is now established as policy and now if you get separated it’s “for cause”. Don’t get severance, don’t pass Go, don’t get $250.

This original post is nonsense... the Bank is hurting for talent right now and are struggling to fill open roles. If anyone's position is impacted they will have ample internal job opportunity or a severance package.

Please stop with the misinformation campaign and fearmongering.
