Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Bad leadership

I recently read an article that defines a company under bad leadership as that with non-existent results, low morale, interoffice politics, divided team, constant attrition, and the use of fear-based tactics to manage. I missed a few points but that's the gist of it. Now tell me that's not BNY Mellon in a nutshell?

Very true in my location. Do you have a link to the article?

Oddly enough, the only thing my co-workers and I agree on is that office politics are terrible and it’s a bad place to work.

On a positive note, they have handled the quality of the bagels in the cafeteria quite well. Banking services and leadership, not so much.

No it's not. I have worked for a lot of companies and there are worse companies. I find BNY Mellon to be a good company to work for.
