I came from another grocery giant and have been with WFM for almost 2 years. One of my ASMs lacks communication skills and shows no critical thinking. He’d rather see us work hard than work smart (save time/money). I once told him if it gets the job done faster with the same results what’s the problem. His answer was to tell me “because I want you to do it this way”. Go figure.

Tms needs to investigate shuv a-lot in blossom hill the way she harasses team members is just out of control not to mention ri car dou and say sar why does team member services keep them around? Wfm is just asking for team members to sue them!
@2twa+1drr1Pp0 I would love to share but I'm afraid i would identify me and I like to gripe on this forum too much for that!
I'm really curious what is asked on the assessment. I kinda of want to apply using a fake name just to see the questions. How do you fail a corporate personality test?
Never mind it's on Youtube.

In my Old location, the stl hardly shows up. When he doesn’t show, no one hears a thing from him. His astl’s hate it, morale in the store is terrible, hiring for team members is basically non existent when it comes to applications coming in on workday.
There’s no efforts to have hiring events. They even resorted to hiring new tm’s who only passed the assessment without proper interviews.
Store leadership in blossom are brain dead and ki----g the morale in the store.
Watch them get moved to other stores to write up fake work records or harass team members to quit they already have a history of doing it.
To @rit+1drr1Pp0 I would love to hear some of your time saving productivity enhancements. Sounds interesting.
It's not meaningless when your boss says "well, I considered $1 raise because you are one of our top TM's but you need to walk a little faster so I'm only going to give you 50 cents." That happens regularly.
The criticism of not being fast enough is something everyone, regardless of their productivity, hears on their job dialogues. It's meaninglessness.
What's an ASM? Do you mean ASTL? What was the situation? Sometimes it's better to just get things done fast. Sometimes not. With how short staffed we are right now I'm seeing a lot of "meh, it's good enough, next project"
Whole Foods motto has always been work faster not smarter. I'd routinely get told I'm not moving fast enough (by my leadership who were literally on coke & me-h) but I always had the best case counts when working load because I used my brain instead of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Yes, i wasn't moving physically as fast as my coworkers on speed, but I was more productive and was able to think of many time saving productivity enhancements for not just our store but the region.
