It's another scare tactic. BM will eventually come out publicly, like Southwest Airlines, and admit he won't be firing anyone, no matter their jab status.

11/1 is another moved goalpost, you should be able to see how this works by now. If not, keep complying and see how that works out for you.

Respectfully, half of the stuff posted here is filled with lies. You have to sign a HIPAA waiver to share your status. It has NOTHING TO DO with you getting vaccinated or not... it has to do with EEO and the ADA. Covid-19 is not a virus, it is an infectious disease caused by SARS-COV-2. If you spread (infect) others, you can "disable" an employee. You make the workplace unsafe (that's where EEO and ADA come in). In other words, they become liable for your illness/disease/death by allowing an unsafe environment. That's a class action lawsuit... so...in conclusion, no one has said ANYTHING about a class action lawsuit for requiring/requesting vaccine status BECAUSE... guess what... THEY HAVE TO BY LAW.
Just update your status, get or don't get vaccinated, and then we will all get remote or rotating schedules... you will not win.
Why do I say remote or rotating? Attrition is really high for this reason and this reason alone... it's going to happen.

No. The Privacy Rule does not prohibit any person (e.g., an individual or an entity such as a business), including HIPAA covered entities and business associates, from asking whether an individual has received a particular vaccine, including COVID-19 vaccines.

First, the Privacy Rule applies only to covered entities (health plans, health care clearinghouses, and health care providers that conduct standard electronic transactions) and, to some extent, their business associates.

Second, the Privacy Rule does not regulate the ability of covered entities and business associates to request information from patients or visitors. Rather, the Privacy Rule regulates how and when covered entities and business associates are permitted to use and disclose protected health information (PHI) (e.g., PHI about whether an individual has received a COVID-19 vaccine) that covered entities and business associates create, receive, maintain, or transmit. Thus, the Privacy Rule does not prohibit a covered entity (e.g., a covered doctor, hospital, or health plan) or business associate from asking whether an individual (e.g., a patient or visitor) has received a particular vaccine, including COVID-19 vaccines, although it does regulate how and when a covered entity or its business associate may use or disclose information about an individual’s vaccination status.

Additional examples. The Privacy Rule does not apply when an individual:

Is asked about their vaccination status by a school, employer, store, restaurant, entertainment venue, or another individual.
Asks another individual, their doctor, or a service provider whether they are vaccinated.
Asks a company, such as a home health agency, whether its workforce members are vaccinated.
Other state or federal laws address whether individuals are required to disclose whether they have received a vaccine under certain circumstances.

Forget the vaccine. The bank has no right to force us to sign over our HIPAA rights to keep our jobs. Completely illegal. Do not comply. My vaccination status is nobodies business but my own. We are 50% undisclosed and if nobody discloses do you think the bank will fire half their staff? Anyone who folds like a lawn chair is screwing everyone else.

I’m allergic to a few basic vaccine ingredients and can’t take ANY vaccines - forget Covid, I can’t even take flu shot. So it’s fair that I get to be in the “unvaxxed” category? It’s not out of choice, I can literally die or go into shock because of a few ingredients even in really tiny quantities. (Yeah, it’s happened before, it was a while back but I don’t want to go through that he-l ever again). It’s fair that I get cold shoulder from other workers - or that I get humiliated for wearing a mask indoors, choosing to stay 6 feet distance, use hand sanitizer, request adequate HEPA filters ventilation, or work from home for my own health, and not jeopardize others’ health because I’m not vaccinated?

Not all unvaccinated are equal. I literally don’t have a CHOICE. I’d like to
live, not die. And no, I don’t believe ivermectin is any good. GET VACCINATED, but have some compassion for those of us that CANNOT.

I must be the only vaxxed person who wants the unvaxxed to remain so. I don’t want them to be forced to wear masks or submit weekly tests. But I do want them to carpool together back to the office as soon as possible. This WFH is not the new normal and they have God given rights to do as they please when they come back. If they choose to hold the line I hear the “pure blood” is a hot commodity at blood and those other “banks”.

My friend over at MS said unvaxxed are getting low bonuses and no raises. They had to go through all this last month. Sure, they might not mandate a vaxx, but they also are not go to reward anyone who won’t comply. Eventually they know people will quit on their own when the can’t take the isolation and cold shoulders from their bosses and coworkers anymore.

I have repeatedly said on this board how much of a shlithole company this is. We have a fuhking CEO who has basically been invisible during this pandemic. He has really done nothing but spread lies on employees being happy to RTO. Showing fake azz pictures of employees fake azz smiles on shlitscape RTO. This BM is a a total fraud.
