80% of the audience on my calls is Indian. While I have nothing against them... it's a bank policy problem...they preach D&I but don't really go after African Americans or Hispanics. When in doubt stick an Indian as D&I.
When an Indian becomes a manager he will overwhelmingly hire indians and seek visa approvals over locals. It's become such a big problem and a communication issue that majority of the calls are unproductive and go side ways.
This whole RTO policy will only make things worse as they are claiming shortage of talent...all the while they aren't competitive and want to bring the poor folks from India to be their servents as they hold their visa and contingency to stay over their heads.
Let's call it for what it is and stop dancing around the issue.
It's all to keep wages low and have unwavering servitude by that sort of workforce to please the aging white execs looking to line up their pockets, lobby the govt for more visas and gcs and handsomely pay their shareholders. The middle class continues to get crushed. Such a sad place corporate America has become and BofA is right on that abuse train.
