TSG Leadership a joke

TSG recently lost the only leader worth following, and now we are left with an overly ambitious glorified BA who thinks that she can bully and lie her way into a leadership role. If back stabbing & gossip, are the path to success, I don't want to work for a place that continues to reward that kind of behavior. BNY is the worst.

If ever a bloated division needed to be featured on “Undercover CEO” this is it.

There were a handful of good TSG leaders in the past - but they were saddled with insane cost-cutting goals and no money to invest in new tech. But they were good people who tried to make it a decent place to work. They didn’t last

Unaware of any great leader in TSG, ever. If there ever was one we wouldn’t have endless redundant silos and dozens of duplicative primitive request processes… often in the same silo. Any real “leader” would modernize, standardize and streamline requests. Then it would be easy to reduce headcount among the “technologists” who are actually clerical bureaucrats.

Hunting through the maze of redundant TSG teams, each with their own long outdated my source social guidelines and bureaucratic gotchas is the most costly part of Application Development. Management treats our time as development hours which is really only about a third of our time. Even the change process for routine updates often takes more time than the development.

@4xif, Technology Services Group. If they had any real leaders they'd be called the Technology Solutions Group and abstract all the granular requests away from their customers who have to search and search to determine what requests to submit and how to fill them out.

What does TSG stand for?

Anyone with an ounce of sense would look past a mediocre pay stub and start planning their exit. Looking for new opportunities seems to be the only option, because there is no way this corrupted culture is going to change. The only people making it are the fat cats at the top and they treat us minions like dirt.

With increasing attrition rates, companies shouldn’t allow lousy bosses be one more reason for workers to leave.
