Fact that we haven’t heard anything by 10am is interesting, think we’re going back.

There’s really no reason to delay back to work any further. COVID is done. As with all virus variants, COVID variants are more contagious but far less harmful. The flu strains which we are ignoring are actually far more worrisome than any of the COVID strains.

We are left with the Anti-Vaxers. Not much you can do about that other than termination for cause. It’s totally reasonable to work without masks when all are vaccinated. In fact the science does not support masks period except for true PPE masks such as the N95. They work and are relatively inexpensive, if annoyingly unadjustible.

It’s time to go back to the office. Too much slacking going on.

No, they want everyone back in January! They aren't going to move the date again.

I think RTO will be pushed until March or April, once spring begins.
Cold weather is always a time when respiratory diseases spread.

Two weeks ago I would’ve said get ready to go back, now I’m not so sure, New York’s getting hit pretty hard at least in upstate.

@1lvw Please--by all means, do keep trying. The gene pool certainly needs more thinning out.

Most likely yes. Wells Fargo said they anticipate the new variant will delay RTO, and since all these banks are copycats of each other I wouldn’t expect BNY to deviate.

I don't see how being in the office increases profitability. Utility cost has been passed onto to the remote workers.

I would think so, but profit will always take precedence over employee safety at BNY.
