Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

RTO Omicron

I heard that an employee has already gotten the omicron variant. Didn't take long. The company will communicate vaccination status like it is the most important metric, but not communicate omicron and other Covid case numbers and certainly not tell us of any employees that have died from Covid.

There have been deaths in our company and other banks: WF, Bank of India, JPM.

If you think this is overblown, then go into the office and "collaborate". I value my health above all else. The bank only operates under risk management when it comes to losing money. Even a small chance I might get sick is a significant risk to ME.

Don’t confuse “dilute” with “mutate”. Doctor?

You are correct, as viruses mutate, they become less lethal. The virus is in control, not pharma-uchi, and that is science.

100% correct. This is simply round 2 of the MyWork cancelation initiative. "Let's end WFH so people quit and we can avoid paying severance and save a billion dollars. No one will question it and we look good on the bottom line. Responsible Growth!"

@dff+
Fauci interview on CCN today.

“We really gotta be careful before we make any determinations that it is less severe or really doesn’t cause any severe illness comparable to Delta, but thus far the signals are a bit encouraging,” he said in an interview with CNN. “It does not look like there’s a great degree of severity to it.”

The doctors treating cases south africa have been stating for weeks that it was extremely mild. Course everyone who looks to the best information already knew that.

This bank doesn't give a damn about employees health or well being. These mutherfocking leaders are spineless and have no interest in stopping the RTO. They want you to quit or resign to save money. I would just half a-s my job everday until something better comes along

BoFA wants to RTO for one reason and that’s to drive up attrition to cut costs. They did the same thing years ago when they stopped the MyWork program for no justifiable reason. This is nothing but a RIF initiative.

Agreed! Very disappointed. Can confirm death of someone that works in my area. No mask requirement while sitting at desk as well. We sit three maybe four feet apart. It’s insane! Already complained to my manager but they still WFH. Not understanding how the bank can get away with this. I’m certain we have a class action lawsuit on our hands. I’m scared everyday I go in the office.

With you! The negligence is insane. I can’t wait to find another job. I’m so disappointed in the leadership.

RTO will continue until 100% jabbed. Wake up.

How will you go about not going in?

I think the bank’s insistence on everyone RTO during this time is gross negligence.
