Bank wants to only hire from India

We have had a number of open positions but not allowed to hire.
Interview after interview for business analysts not even programmers and the hiring mgr (from India) wants to say there is no qualified candidates. I can assure you that everyone is exhausted and we have passed up fantastic candidates to this BS. Mgt now says there is a lack of talent...this is simply not true!

This is not right. Half of the team is H1B from India who constantly need hand holding. This is becoming a business and diversity issue just allowing one race to get hired all because they are cheaper.

So sick of this place and this BS.

I think these guys are hiring: https://www.bofa-india.com/ but the IT jobs are through BA Continuum India Pvt. Ltd (BACI)

I brought this up to my manger once. They acted liked my thoughts were strange or racist. But if the only headcount they plan to hire is Indian something is inherently wrong. I'm almost retired so it doesn't impact greatly, but I do worry about the younger generation, my kids.

the first thing our new hire did was
fix a bug that's been bugging him
forever as a user prior to joining.
he then breathed a sigh of relief
and submitted his two weeks'
notice.

Pretty much a done deal once you have a hiring manager like that in place. Nobody else will do.
