Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Too many priorities mean no priorities

I have more and more work to do, I don't know if it's the same with you, but in my case everything has become a priority! I try in vain to prioritize because so much work cannot be done by one person, however, the answer is always that everything is a priority. So far I have tried to finish everything on time, but now I realized that if everything is a priority for them, then nothing is a priority and I continue to work much more relaxed, not paying attention to so much pressure at all. I just wonder what will be the end result of this kind of management?

So many folks work overtime but don’t get paid overtime since it’s frowned upon.

Choose the priorities yourself, leave everything else undone.

As short staffed as they are, they can hardly get rid of you...and perhaps they will realize yes they need to do more to attract new hires to fill all the openings so the work gets done.

As long as you do the impossible, they don't need to hire.. Period.

Everything is a priority, everything is urgent. I need to work overtime but that is frowned upon, the solution is working overtime and not reporting it aka wage theft.
