Difficulties filling job reqs

What do you think is the reason?
Is Bny having difficulties filling job reqs because they aren’t remote based?

Plain and simple BNY don’t pay well and too much politics!

Pay isn’t market, benefits too costly, gauntlet employee review (not interview) process, toxic is putting it mildly. Management needs a complete overhaul. Top heavy.

If you’re a member of the media and asking this question on thelayoff, I really suggest you try to get your insider info somewhere else because very few people anywhere on this forum have any clue about the inner workings of our firm or hiring trends. We are mostly disgruntled clerical employees who will say anything to disparage the place they work with little to no proof to inform their opinion.

Pittsburgh biz journals quoted thelayoff a year or two ago and that was one of the funnier things I’ve seen a reporter do. This is absolutely not an unbiased source of info and you’re probably getting the opinion of an ops employee who couldn’t name our corporate strategy goals or senior leadership. Not the type of employee who knows our hiring situation from the top of the house.

slow hiring process and do----o pay. the only people left are people waiting until retirement, brown-nosers, and college grads from B-tier schools who will jump ship in a few years anyway once they know better.

Jobs with on-site requirements need to pay at least 25% more to compete with people who have thousands of 100% remote jobs to choose from.
