Long Term Disability Declined for long haul Covid

Co-worker has diagnosed long term Covid and has been out for over six months. Was declined long term disability and was told "Bank of America will not be endorsing this". Anyone hear anything similar?

LTD covers you for any medical condition your doctor says you cannot work. You have to be able to substantiate the diagnosis with test results etc. I have sicessully claimed.

depends on what it was declined for. There are valid reasons for declining long term disability.

whoa. No. Thats kind of nuts though, doesnt make sense. LTD covers the person overall, not just at work. If the person gets cancer, for example, LTD would kick in...
