People complaining about deferring return to office are right.

You should go back in... no, you, specifically.

Not everyone wants to return to office, they need to do a hybrid, but a better one than the ill-thought-out one of having everyone there three days a week... good for collaboration, but not exactly a safe-plan.

If you like working from home, you shouldn't be complaining, and some sites already have voluntary in-office, but with restrictions. Give your spouse a break and just go back in if allowed.
