Any word on which groups will be impacted or will the 55+ get targeted?

@5rjx, except along with those higher paying retail jobs comes 6.8% inflation. Doesn't make it very easy to plan your retirement...
I’m over 55 and want to get laid. Off.
If you are over 55, nearing retirement or contemplating the same, and SUB/severance eligible, then getting laid off is a gift. If you are worth your game, then you can easily get picked up elsewhere, and even can semi-retire and get a good paying low stress job in retail. Go out, enjoy time at a restaurant, and if service is slow, maybe ask what the wages are and fill out an application because there are LOTS of other jobs out there. Maybe not at your prior pay level, but in 5 or 10 more years, you were going to retire anyway.
55+ WhMls are always the primary target. All other displacements, particularly those with DEI credentials, are added in only for serious cause or performance issues.
@1iei+, they won't even be real graduates. They'll just have a few couses at the Indian Institutes of Technology.
The recent graduates with their 3 months of intern experience will make a fine replacement for the 55+ crowd.
Take a look around and you'll see 90% of BK employees are 55+. If it wasn't for ops making 35k we'd have 99% who are 55+.

@1iar+1emplCTw, do you know this for a fact or are you just surmising? The environment in Asset servicing tech is fear ridden. It would be a shame to invoke more fear to those already carrying a burdensome load of fear on their shoulders for the sake of stoking more fear upon them.
