Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

With regard to 3/7/22: what happens when yet ANOTHER Covid variant pops up?

I also think a lot of people are going to use the hybrid method with a heavy leaning towards continuing working from home; maybe a token day or two (per week, per every other week) in the office. But, seriously: what happens when another variant pops up? What then?

OP, that’s easy. The next variant will be far more contagious than and far weaker than the common cold… just like every variant in the history of virus tracking.

This is probably the most sensible assessment of how things will actually work with return to office. Well done.

I doubt that either Todd or HR will reverse course. Two movie lines come to mind: "We all gotta die some time" (Platoon); "If he dies, he dies" (Rocky IV).
