Im a band 5 interviewing for another role at the bank. It is also band 5…but certainly a “better” job title in a hotter discipline that usually would pay more. My question is: if they offer me the position, when they make the $ offer, how much are they going to lowball me? How many rounds of back and forth are expected in the salary negotiation? Should i go higher than I expect, as they might counter my counter? Etc.? Also: any chance of getting RSUs/equity/options/equity cash as part of individual comp as a band 5? Anything else I should know? Thanks in advance.

Usually when you get to the point in which you are being considered as one of the final candidates for a role the recruiter will ask what you desired salary is. From there, if they make an offer and it's less that what you stated you can definitely politely negotiate. Usually you won't receive a lowball offer if the req is posted and you work through a recruiter, but expect a lowball offer if that is not the case.
Depends how much you make now compared to the range for that role (or team) in the new area. If you are high, they will move you over and then start chipping away for the next 1-3 yrs to "get the team more aligned".
If you make less in your current role as B5, they will just move you over, give you a fancy title and pocket the difference.
Personally, I'd rather have the money than the title. Either way -- and even if they give you a bump up -- be sure to ask your manager about "upside" potential (how much and how often salary increase/review - what would it take (in concrete terms/steps you can control and take) to get more pay.
With a lateral at best I'd expect 5% - 10% from my experience.
You don’t really get much of anything moving laterally in a Band 5. Just depends on what LOB you are moving from and to. Every LOB has their own salary range. If you are above the salary range they may ask you to take a cut for the “ experience .” Nothing wrong with asking for your worth.
Good luck
You really have no leverage. I think it is usually capped at 15% increase. If you want more, take an external promotion.
I would go high with your counter the worse they can say is no. I don’t believe you will get any equity options or anything of that sort.
