The impacts of inflation

Escalating oil prices translate into bigger grocery bills. Given that many consumers are affected, I wonder how this will affect WFM. Will the company be faced with looming losses? I hope that the coming period will not be much worse than when the pandemic was in full swing.

Literally every time we have communication from regional or global saying we have to fight our "Whole Paycheck" image a massive amount of price increases come down. Sure there will be a few tiny price reductions but some products leap a few dollars up.

As far as inflation goes though many companies are keeping the price point the same but reducing the amount of product you'll get. Late July for example. Some products straight up lie and say 33% more chips or similar.

Inflation is a lie coperations are making huge profits proce gouging. They took advantage of the panic and now they will use the war in Ukraine as another excuse to bend the consumers over and rail them.

seeing something that was 1.29$ per unit last year go to 1.79$ now is a big jump in percentage...some of these price hikes are ridiculous...
