Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Two people left my team so far due to RTO

Several more are seriously considering walking away and if they do, we're screwed. I think this might cause the kind of domino effect the leadership has not considered. They counted on some people leaving due to RTO but I'm not sure they counted of more and more following because the workload will become unmanageable. I don't mind being at the office but I do mind having to do two or three jobs at once. The following weeks will be trying, to say the least.

This is the plan. They want the attrition as then they don't need to pay severance.

@3cha+1fRAlXPV Calling anybody who can't or won't accept that the answer is letting them WFH a "leader" is pretty generous. And they need to do it ASAP, every day they don't just get off their butts and announce that they'll allow what they did during COVID is more employees lost.

One person has left my team so far but I expect more including myself soon.

Tons of people are leaving- and managers are opening roles left and right; however there aren’t enough of us to review talent, schedule interviews, onboard, and help fill roles fast enough (we are also slammed and have too much work - we also got the lame raise and double work). I’m out next- applied for a WFH role at another company.

Leaders not focused/don't care about anyone leaving. Focused on hiring.

Rah rah rah.

I wonder how much they will enjoy "managing" empty desks.

Go take another booster and double mask yourself and get back to work, your intolerance is showing

There are no formal exit interviews. It was a survey from HR, which is really vague.

I don't know if there are formal exit interviews or if reason for leaving is tracked so well. You would think it would be. However, I think they have to spend so much timing filling roles, they don't have the time and don't care why people are leaving. My point is that if any hard data were in place to back up the reason people are leaving, would it matter? Doubtful. It seems like leadership is pretty invested in their way being the only way. This isn't just happening now. People started leaving over RTO when the earlier, original groups got orders to return to work. They probably have no idea exactly how many though.

That is exactly what is happening. I am already feeling the extra work load and I’m very frustrated to the point that I have started posting. The people leaving are being replaced with bodies to fill a seat.

Two people have left on my team, and two more are seriously considering it. I will be leaving soon because of it. It’s extremely hard doing something that is totally devoid of logic just because.
