Everybody knows this but nobody cares enough to do anything to change it. The brain drain, the drop in morale, and even the drop in productivity don't seem to be enough for any of the people in charge to try and fix the situation. No wonder so many people are leaving when we're given no reasons to stay here.

Wow, hopefully someone was terminated for that move. I’m a 38 year Custody veteran of five major custody banks in the last 38 years. Who in their right mind would not have bundled Mutual Funds along with Stock Transfer for sale to Computershare?
Does anyone at the Bank actually think that we have anycompetitive advantage or even a good story to tell with mutual funds?
No, They still have a retail mutual fund department. It appears they have lost a significant percentage of the business in the last 4 years or so.
A dead business. Sell it!
Seriously? Did we really not sell mutual funds to Computershare when we sold stock transfer? We can babble about digital and AI while we fax away… but when oh when will we ever even get the simple stuff right…
Shareholder Services is a joke too. Just sell the retail mutual fund business to the highest bidder. This department makes hardly no net revenue for the company and is the worse area to work in.
Are they truly "reqs" if they are told not to fill them???
So many departments are under-staffed and reqs are not only not being filled but there are directives NOT to fill them. We lost half our people in a year and NO ONE is coming to replace anyone!!!!!
@ted, how does having miserable employees prime us for a merger? As if regulators would allow mergers in the too big to fail arena.
Have to agree. Most people want to leave but most don’t put in enough effort to engineer a move.
I’m only miserable 60 hours a week.
They are priming us for a merger.
It’s a well known fact : asset servicing tech sucks
