Combining Regions?

From the recent announcement in Innerview “ As Bill transitions into his new position, we will take the time to carefully consider next steps for Rocky Mountain leadership. We will share more information as soon as we have it.”

Leads me to believe that they might be going away from RPs and instead having a RP (or new job title) oversee multiple regions/area/cog like all the other regional teams have done (marketing, construction, finance, purchasing, etc….

Thoughts?

Lol, Now it's time to blame the warehouse (for the stuffing )and say they sent it out as miss picks. Guess, everyone in store leadership, regional, and global will need to break away and send out emails figuring out who they will sacrifice to the Vp God's.

SW and Sp are combined...in other NEWS!! Regional coordinators will become buyers, so we have no more over-purchasing.
coordinators, assistant coordinators etc since much has become globalized and digitized into "deep dive analytics....." however i do think certain jobs should remain at regional--the regional coordinator/purchaser/buyer positions..they can know where to get product from local, state, regional vendors when logistic issues are occurring..as we have seen from the covid experience sourcing product can be problematic and knowing where to get key items from the "little guys" could pay our rents...buyers/purchasers new job will now become schematic planers and work store level doing change-outs and fronting with"the little guys"

Good pointlessly top heavey company that pretends to give a rats a-s about its employees. Hopefully they dispose if a bunch of the high up people they serve little to no purpose anyway. All regions should do everything the same way no reason to have somebody in each region make decisions.
