Ex-BNY employee here. All the info I get from friends still there, people who have been laid off and HR people is that it has been a massive exodus. Layoffs continue, employees leaving to make more $ at other firms (nothing new there), job reqs not able to be filled. I was contacted by a headhunter trying to fill a contractor spot and he/she didn't even realize I was a former employee.
