I work with 2 others in a specialised team.
I have found out, the others earn 100k more than me, and we are all the same grade I.
I feel gutted.

Don't borrow money??? I've made millions off other people's money. It takes money to make money and it doesn't have to be your money.
@auhj+1fVsSiWP Very sound advice. I would only add to live within your means and be sure to put any unexpected bonuses or surprises aside for a rainy day as into any life more than a little rain will fall.
Live a simple life, don't borrow money , pay off your loans and you won't ever care again for grades, rise and layoff.

Speak up because I recently found out I was making over $10k less than my male peers in the same mgr role. New mgmt fixed that bs quick. Without that happening I would have never known I was getting screwed over and I was doing way more than them
$100K more in I grade, you have been misinformed and/or lied to. Each grade has a salary range. Unless you're in level S. The difference from low to high is not $100K.
I make a little over $100k as a level I, but I remember a few years ago they told me I was maxed out at around $97k, so unless NYC pays an extra $100k at level I, that doesn't sound right. Maybe they're actually a few levels higher.
If it’s in Ireland you are for sure overcompensated. That mess should all should have been moved to Poland a decade ago.
Wow! It sounds like your whole team make a sh*tload of money if it can vary by $100,000 per annum. My advice to you is to appreciate what you have and do not tell coworkers how well you are doing.
Salary and levels are based on location -typically where cost of living is also higher.
Where does the person sit who determines your salary and who do they have lunch with. I'm pretty sure I can guess.

How is that possible? $100 k difference at that level sounds very off.
