I cannot think of a unit in the Bank that is less knowledgeable than HR for handling a liability question.
The message being delivered in senior leadership mtg is that the vax will be a condition of employment. No vax, no job. They are only waiting on court decisions in hopes to use them as cover.

uja+1fk79bJ0 - they aren’t saying because it’s not legal . we’re considered federally contracted and that was shut down by the courts earlier this month. Ive been asking HR what liability the bank is assuming if forced and they can’t answer it

@cut+1fk79bJ0 - Most of it was just a BNYM promotional pamphlet. New clients, Project Catalyst, an interview with a new director.
They spent about 5mins on RTO and vaccines. No new information was presented other than what you already saw in the emails. They basically just read the emails again verbatim. Encouraging everyone to get vaxed and boosted before 3/7. They are waiting on the federal court decision to come through on federal contractors to see whether they will mandate vaccination as a condition of employment. There will be or-l arguments in court in early April, before any decision is made in that case.
