Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

What causes a post to be deleted

I know names will but what else.
Have noticed a few gone and can’t figure out why.

The "swear words" were redacted. Seemed pretty harmless. Whatevs.

Well, the definition includes swear words that aren't exactly work friendly.

Interesting, and apparently you can get a Tractor Boy mug. I can see why you post was taken down.

My last 2 posts were deleted. Only initials were used in one and the other was simply the definition of a "tractor boy" from Urban Dictionary. I don't know, maybe I had to cite the source on that one.

No, you don't know names will get a post deleted. There is nothing in the terms saying you can't use names.

There definitely is the typical far left ideological cancel culture of all modern social tech platforms. I’ve seen posts removed for that. No indication though of any BK influence.

Got some real paranoid types around here. I can assure you nobody at any of these companies has any pull here. I know someone who tried to get something removed once. And if they really knew who you were... don't you think you would've had some consequences by now? ;)

Follow the content rules and behave, and your post will live a very long life. Otherwise it gets deleted, no big deal.

If you mention Tractor Boy, Todd or how much you hate BNY. The executive committee monitors this blog and, even though it says it is, it is not truly anonymous. Like the employee surveys, they KNOW who is saying what.
