There is a guy walking around the floors in Jersey City taking note of who is in their seats. He walks around several times a day, every day.

Christ I was only in the bathroom for a minute.
Ask him if he'd like a cupcake
Saw a manager pointing out seats of people who don't show up. It was only funny because I rarely see that manager in the office either!
They have always done this in Jax, they check on your name, who is sitting where and if there are any empty desks. BAU, maybe they are doing it more often since they are moving people around. Too many people are not going back, they won't be checking all the desks to see who is at the office, that's actually very funny if you think about it.
They’ve been doing the seat attendance thing for years. Used to be an admin who would do it.
Once they convert to flexible desks they can’t take attendance without looking at reports.
I don’t think anyone cares anymore. People have decided to only go in a couple times a week. They are just waiting it. Take the firing and will get a new job. Lots of other jobs out there. No biggie.
ive seen the security guy walk around a couple of times a day (yes, in Jersey City), but not really taking note of anything. our floor is still pretty much deserted
Summer interns use to do this in Dallas..
Crop dust him when he walks by.
And that's his actual job? LOL! Hilariously sad.
