Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

What would you do??

Right, the time has come - you've handed in your notice, mentally clocked out and just serving out your notice period. What would you do? Any post on mss to leave a legacy?? Surprise entries on system for day after your last day?? Burn all your bny bridges. Or best to just slip away quietly & boringly!!???

For one, they could care less what you have to say that’s negative during your exit interview. I’ve had prior staff tell them issues and their response was “guess it’s a good thing you’re leaving”. Want to make a Big Bang last day, send a mass email why you left using the corp email group and it goes to all in the bank

I'm sure you can find a way to explain why you are leaving in a professional way during your exit interview. Don't go off calling everyone c*nts now.

Be gracious, thank and say goodbye to people and walk out with your head held high. Also be sure to get your belongings if they weren’t already lost by facilities during COVID.

Technology is small world, and Finance is even smaller. Don't burn your bridges.

Be an adult. You may need a reference down the road.

I’d grow up and behave like an adult.

Don't burn your bridges. Exit the building and breathe a deep sigh of relief.
