The previous place where I worked, it was quite natural to sometimes ask the manager for some advice. The current manager here I would never ask for anything because he is completely disconnected from our team. I hope this manager is a lone case at BNY Mellon?

Anyone still working in the office need mental help.
I agree, get lost. No ones cares do your job and stop complaining. If you are not happy find another job - lots of openings.
Find a new job, your misery spreads and affects others. Your manager probably cannot stand you as you are most likely terrible and problematic to work with.
Suspect the manager is not happy with your performance as it is the norm now the remaining bad apples are left since all the good performers have left. I would advise to be happy you have a job and if your are that unhappy to leave.
Avoid as many people as you can for as long as you can. Go outside; take a walk. Management isn’t spending their time working, why should you?
Asking us for advice helps us with our BE ratings. Ask away please.
I dunno, I have a few co-workers who are very well connected to our boss from one sphincter to another.
Don’t ask. It will only backfire.
Caring managers are a thing of the past. You’re on your own.
