Remote Work Policy

At BofA is it true that if you live 50 or more miles away from the office you can be fully remote?

Probably talk to manager regarding your situation. I am sure he will listen to your issue.

@1fyl+1gR9KIfX - only "entitled" to a severance package IF your job is eliminated. (not it's location) They'll just pass you over, chip away at your comp, pile more work on you... generally treat you like cr-p until you leave on your own so they don't have to pay you anything.

You’re entitled to your severance package, but I don’t think they’re required to allow you to work from home. Although it would be worth pressing them if they weren’t willing to offer WFH since there’s a whole building of people in Brea that are permanent WFH due to distance.

I would feel safer on a raft of twigs in the middle of the ocean during hurricane season than being remote at the bank. Time to look at other options. Not to mention being blocked from moving to new roles.

Could you go wfh? Sure, its possible. Some groups are feeling the squeez of poor raises and horrible management and will take a body wherever they can. Problem is mywork can be withdrawn each year...one year at a time...

The bank is having trouble filling positions period. Hr is crazy busy and also running to our competitors...

No. You can leave.

They'll just replace you with a no-nothing new hire in Waltham, New York City, Richmond or preferably Charlotte.
