Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

250k is now rich and 100k ain't -electric vehicles

A step in the right direction to punish over $250k now instead of picking on $100k employees via electric cars? Or just a olive branch for people under $250k to justify bringing us back to the office where we are 2 feet next to each other?

August 2022- gas is now $6 a gallon and the bank says we offerred you $4k off a $40k vehicle to help you out. Don't know why no one wants to come in.....

What a bunch of male bovine ex------t. They want to give me a taxable for the purpose of buying an electric vehicle. With what they pay most of us not a very doable proposition. If you live in states like California where black outs are common especially during fire season and now in Texas with reports off expected rolling black outs due to electric grid issues I can see my manager laughing when I call out that my car is out of juice and I can recharge it. With an 85 mile round trip if I was going into the office everyday I'll keep my current ride.

Eliminate the the over 100k to 250k band. We are also the working poor.

But don't take em up on the 4k if you are above 90k as you will be crushed w 100k penalty until you die

I thought the same exact thing. Here’s 4K for a purchase or 2K for a lease, now you have to RTO and can’t complain. That money is taxed by the way so it’s really $2800 and $1400 (ish)

@gio+1gT8B8mE let's be real, we all know everything they say is lip service.

I love how the article says the bank is committed to improving the environment, yet is causing more pollution by mandating RTO. They want us to become better environmental stewards, but say, drive an hour to work when you can do this from home.
